KEP Cromo M Anti Scratch Hat

The exterior high-tech design of the hardhat, in polycarbonate paint, is available in anti-scratch “Mica”.

Each model is developed from concepts of optimizing physical performance whilst utilising select materials that produce a timeless look as well as unparalleled comfort and safety. With the patented "Air Control System" of ventilation, developed by KEP, The helmet allows the head to stay cool, furthering the comfort of the helmet.

The front grille has an air control system which is activated through the slight movement of the central switch. The polystyrene foam situated behind the grille protects against the entry of insects.

The frame of the hardhat is a perfect marriage of three interconnecting parts that leave sinuous paths ideal for air circulation.

The high-tech polystyrene is located within double density foam for better shock absorption.

AIR CONFLUENCE

The air circulation provided by the Kep hat keeps the head cool and dry at all times. This is done by allowing the hot air, generated by the head temperature, to escape out through the rear channels.

CHIN STRAP

There is a five point harness fitted with the hardhat support system. As well as this the chinstrap is directly inserted in the hardhat through three passing rings, and is made from completely smooth non-allergic and washable leather. The rivets are not in contact with the skin, which is a topic that has been studied in order to avoid skin disorders.

INNER PAD

The one piece inner padding is attached to an anatomic cushion that perfectly fits the nape ensuring optimum comfort and absolute air diffusion thanks to the high-tech materials used - Coolmax coupled with open-cells filter and smooth Sanitized treated micro-fibre. The inner pad can also be bought separately as a spare-part.

REMOVE AND REPLACE THE INNER PAD

To remove

1. Pull the lining from the rear of the hat gently detaching from Velcro
2. Ease the two front/side inserts away from the helmet
3. The insert is now remove

To replace

1. Clip into place the two front inserts of the liner into the slots beneath the rim of the hat
2. Flowing the contour of the hat smooth the liner keeping the inner ear covers on the inside of the lining, until it locks with the Velcro at the back of the hat
3. Lining is now in place and should fit neatly into the helmet
